Revolution Disc Golf Quad Pack Posted 10-11-06 Submitted by Anonymous Review: I've had this bag for about two months now and I'm very happy with the bag. The disc storage is large enough for 16-17 discs in the main compartment but I find with the Rollcage divider, 14 discs leaves enough wiggle room to easily get discs in and out. The form factor of a cover disc compartment will be nice in the rainy season (discs stay dry!!!). The side compartments fit a quart nalgene or water bottle easily or will take three or four discs each. I do wish there was additional sub pockets in the top storage area for key, wallet, etc. so when I'm full of water and snacks in the sides there would be a secure area for my small stuff. There is no large sized umbrella storage sleeve or clips and it would be hand to have a umbrella holder on the bag for smaller umbrellas but not really a big deal. Attaching a stool is easy with a couple of carabiners. The side mesh pockets will also take two or three discs each so if you want or need to carry a lot of plastic AND still have room for a fleece, water, snacks and a copy of "Disc Golf for Dummies", no problem, the padded back and straps distribute the load evenly and unlike the quad shocked standard bags, keeps the backpacks center of gravity firmly against your back so no strain, hunching or bouncing. No wear issues yet but I suspect the front compartment cover (which gets rubbed when removing or replacing discs) will be first to show wear. I'm happy with my $145 bag, but the big test will be in 4-6 years. I'm hoping I'll get bored with the bag before it really needs to be replaced. Submit Your Review Back to Main Page |
