Player Reviews Posted 03-23-08 Submitted by Anonymous Disc Weights: 173-175 Review: The tank is one of the most magical, fabulous and all inspiring approach discs that has ever been made. Very predictable flight with the right golfer...other then that if you have never thrown one don't hold your breath. They don't make them anymore, and you are reluctant to find someone that will trade you...oh ya did I mention they are cool! Posted: 8-17-02 Submitted by Dallas McKinley <mckinley@rivercenterchurch.org> The Ching Tank is a steady, stable, soft, predictable, putter. It flies well to good distances, and is better in the wind than some of the deeper rimmed putters. I now use it as my primary up-close putter and as a set-up disc out to about 150 feet max where my Roc takes over. This is of course on straight throws with mild winds. The Tank has less glide at the end of its ride than an Aviar Putter or Aviar, but a little more than the straight dropping APX. The softness of the disc does not lend itself to a hyzer shot so those are out. The plastic is different than any other disc I have handled in that it is very soft and very natural feeling. More like a piece of leather than some space age gummy worm. It has a nice rim and gripping is a dream. With practice, this has made puts for me under 25 feet a given if I'm on my game. This is a really good putter so if you are searching for one give it a try. Posted: 07-14-01 Submitted by Edward Forstoffer III <edwardf@fast.net> The tank is one of most favorite putting discs. This disc when thrown directly at target stays straight. Plus, with its soft outer edge, it cushions the chains and eliminates the chance of bouncing out. If you need a straight long putt shot, the tank is the way to go. Submit Your Review Back to Main Page |
