Player Reviews Posted 11-05-06 Submitted by Great Long Range Mid bleedingfuture05@aol.com Disc Weights: 172 Review: This Disc just plain floats! You throw it and it will deliver, the flight of this mid-range is beautiful and it pretty much is a go-to disc for shorter courses/holes. I mainly use it on my "longer" mid-range shots but its still good for shorter ones also. real nice for those lumbering slow "S" shots also. i give it a 8 outta 10 Posted 08-17-06 Submitted by moonlit Location: MN Level: Amateur Avg Drive: 325 Disc Weights: 177+ Review: This review is aimed at beginners who are looking for midrange discs. This Elite-X Comet is by far the straightest flyer out there. It literaly holds exactly the line you put it on. It is so straight, it is almost scary. Left curve, straight line, right curve, this disc does it all! It has great glide. It holds its line when thrown hard or with finesse. I've thrown Z Buzz, X Buzz GT, D Roc, Z Breeze, Champion Coyote and Champion Stingray. The X Comet is the straightest flyer. I believe beginners should learn the art of controlling the angle of release to really accelerate progress in lowering scores. This disc will force you to learn your angles and help you in your overall game! This is a great disc from 250 feet and closer. Learn to control this disc and you will become a force to be reckoned with! Learn this disc and all other discs will be easier to manage. At first I felt this disc was useless but over the last 6 months i've started to rely more and more on it. I have found that different colors of X plastic tend to have different stabilities. Yellow comets tend to be the most understable wih blue following in at a close second. The red and black ones that i own i use for straight flight or soft gental hyzers that only need to break about 15-20 foot to the left. Overall I found this disc to be very versatile and i use it from 200-375 foot range and for massive sweeping anhyzer shots that i wanna make sure that the disc won\'t fade out. If you are in need of a disc that will make u learn contol, then this is the disc for you, and for those who are already control freaks then u probably already have one in your bag.
