Player Reviews PPosted 01-13-08 Submitted by Grayson Middlebrook anarak82@hotmail.com Disc Weights: 150 Review: I picked up this disc because I prefer throwing lighter discs but never stepped all the way down to the 150 class discs because I hadn't thrown one that offered any stability and all my drives with 150s were going right and turning into rollers. I like my 168 z surge and find it to be overstable enough for me to try it out in the newly released 150 elite x plastic. they did drop the stability down from 1.7 to .5 and that is very noticeable. That being said I LOVE THIS DISC! The glide is exceptional, thrown with about 70% of power I can get this disc to fly about 300ft with a predictable fade at the end. While I don't recommend this disc for a windy day, it does hold up nicely for such a nice disc. While the 150 Surge may not be for bigger arms wanting to throw over 400ft, this disc flys just as well with less effort on any hole under 300ft. I have gotten a few sidearm hyzer bombs off with it, but for the most part a gentle backhand hyzerflip on wide open holes or straight lasers seem to be this disc's strong suit.
