Player Reviews Posted 12-18-05 Submitted by Mark hikermk@hotmail.com Disc Weights: 167-169 Review: I am an Intermediate player who primarily throws this disc sidearm. The X Talon has a low dome and shallow rim. It releases with ease and the X plastic feels nice and grippy. Although I think that the Innova pro plastic is a little bit more grippy, the X plastic is more durable and retains it's shape better which is more suited for the sidearm thrower. The Talon does not have much glide, but travels fast and flat like a bullet. This disc has worked well for me off of tighter tee's and I can usually toss this disc about 300ft. When not using the X Talon, I use the X Wildcat for more open areas. When thrown sidearm, the X Talon travels very far and straight with a little fade at the end. When thrown backhand, it has allot more fade at the end of it's flight. This is a great disc and would recommend it to the beginner-amateur players wanting to learn to throw sidearm.
