Player Reviews Posted 08-28-06 Submitted by moonlit Disc Weights: 173 Review: The other reviews are accurate. I will add one more aspect about this disc that I really find useful; it's ROUNDED RIM! On those approach shots when I need a disc to plop flat and slide predictably up to and under the basket without digging in, the Breeze is money in the bank! This disc has saved countless pars for me. I use the disc as a driver for many shorter holes.(Many birds too!) That predictable plop and slide will keep it in my bag until I wear it out and get another one! Posted 07-08-06 Submitted by Bill geographypony@yahoo.com Disc Weights: 169 Review: Nice little disc. Very rounded edge, slower flying, and nicely accurate. I almost scored my first ace with this disc on a 225' curved hole. This disc will stay where you put it with little or no effort. It is also a decent choice when you don't want to risk overthrowing a shorter hole. This disc can be easily overpowered so I can big drivers not really liking this disc much. Posted: 5-01-05 Submitted by fred@coxsystech.com this is a very versatile disc, good for straight shots, soft anhyzer, and medium drives. discraft seems to be paying attention to mid-range control discs, what with their "one disc ace race" promo. i like this disc for left to right approach shots because it will hold a soft anhyzer line and plane out just enough to flop, without digging or rolling. you can power this disc on hyser drives and it will straighten up and go, although it is not really a distance disc. all in all, a useful little control disc. Posted: 4-03-04 Submitted by jobuurumdrinker@hotmail.com The snow finally melted so I had a chance to try out my Discraft Z Breeze. If you're a new player and only want to buy one disc to see if you like the game, this is the disc you want. It flies super straight with a good amount of glide so new players will get that little extra from it. Compared to my beat up MRV, it's a little more on the understable side so you can use it for those anhyser right turns. Thrown straight or hyser it keeps it's line with a bit less fade than the beat up MRV. It's a great approach disc when you dont want to throw your putter 100-200 ft. I don't know how it will act when thrown very hard (since I don't) but I'm pretty sure it will turnover pretty easily much like the Stratus. Here's more great news. You can even putt with it.
