Player Reviews Posted: 12-23-04 Submitted by Bryce Cox coxbb@yahoo.com I'm a fairly new player but I like this disc a lot! The other disc I enjoy is a 171 Z XL, although I also throw a 170 X X2 in windy conditions or for an all-out huck. I would say this disc is more overstable than the Z XL despite the 1.5 stability rating for both discs, and at slower speeds it does tend to fly overstable from start to finish. I've thrown a 170 X Talon too and noticed a very similar flight pattern to the lighter 150-Class disc -- in short, there seems to be a distinctive "Talon" feel regardless of the weight. This disc can certainly be made to fly with an S-curve when it's thrown hard and fast, and even forced to hold a left-pull when thrown anhyzer (RHFH), but for the most part I find that it flies straight and far before dropping off moderately at the end. I consistently fly this disc 10 yards farther than my XL although, as one might guess, high winds will really jerk it around and diminish distance. It actually holds a line quite well, though, in a moderate breeze. I'm a healthy, medium sized 33 year old male but I have a lot of fun and get great performance out of this "kids" disc!
