Player Reviews Posted: 3-08-04 Submitted by: Chris Marcinkiewicz chris.marcinkiewicz@economicalinsurance.com Cyclone - Pro D plastic - 172-174 g The true straight flying long driver. Overhand - This disc will fly in a beeline path if kept low and thrown straight and has very little fade at the end of it's flightpath. Not a "muscle" disc. Over exertion will typically result in the disc turning over and providing only mid-range distance. As this disc gets broken in and roughed up a bit, which will happen due to soft plastic construction, it will begin to turnover on you and become less stable but still very predictable and straight. Not a good disc into the wind, resulting in minimum distance and the disc being forced into the ground if thrown on a low tragectory. Into the wind thrown upwards or as a hyzer shot will result in disc being pushed up skyward, turning over and getting very little distance. Thrown into a downwind, the Cyclone will really carry and glide. But generally, shouldn't be trusted in any wind conditions. Roller - Great roller potential once broken in. Tomahawk - Very predictable right - left movement and always hits the ground upside down. Overall - The Cyclone is very predictable when not muscled or thrown in windy conditions. It will get a lot of carry or glide with very little left right action when thrown low and straight. Good beginner driver as well as an intermediate/advanced go to disc for those long narrow straight shots. Submit Your Review Back to Main Page |
