What Innova says:
The Viper is an extremely stable to over-stable flier that is very reliable in all wind conditions. It is responsible for the popularity of the innova-tive 'flex shot" that starts high and turned over then ends up over-stable. It is easier to throw than smaller diameter discs.

The CFR Viper is an awesome utility disc to have for very technical courses, and for very windy rounds. It is SUPER Over-stable, sickening actually. Because it is so over-stable, it honestly can’t be thrown that far. I am an advanced player, and I can throw between 400-450 feet, but will average 375 feet if throwing over and over again in the open. I would have a lot of trouble throwing this disc over 300 feet. I’d have to put an anhyzer line on it to do so. But if you need a mid-range that fades VERY hard left quickly (RHBH), then this is for you. I love this disc for short, tight, wooded holes that have a hard line on them. If you need a big skip, this disc would be for you. If thrown slightly on edge, and it catches good skipping ground/grass, it can easily skip 50-60 feet. These are getting harder to come by since they are CFR discs, but they are very useful.
