Player Reviews Posted: 4-03-04 Submitted by Joe McKee joemckee1@juno.com am primarily a right-handed forehand thrower, and am now in my third season. This disc is my primary driver for holes that are less than 350 feet. I can get a little more distance with a Champion Monster or Firebird, and use them for longer holes. But this disc gives me more control, especially when I keep the shot low. If thrown flat, it will turn only after approximately 90% of its flight; I simply aim at eleven o'clock (15 degrees left of the target) and let it fade right. This is also my driver of choice for tight dogleg right holes as its onset of turn is very predictable. Posted: 3-08-04 Submitted by: j.m.f-shadow@sbcglobal.net The Innova KC Pro Banshee is the best skip disc that has ever been made. You may think the Epic skips better, but the KC Pro Banshee is way more predictable. This highly versatile disc really lets you give tight hyzer holes a go. I also recommend this disc to first time players if you have a hard time throwing a consistent hyzer shot, this disc will definitely do the trick for you. When your done throwing this disc for the first time on a skipper hole, you will never want to buy another new skip disc, unless it is the DX Banshee, which also skips very well. Good discin and buy a Banshee. Posted: 4-28-02 By Blake Takkunen - the Webmaster - <blake@discgolf.com> My Review: The KC Pro Banshee is a fast, small diameter overstable driver. This disc is very predictable and is an excellent disc into the wind. This disc really shines on long sweeping hyzers and knife hyzers and is a solid choice for a sidearm driver. This disc is a popular choice amongst players as an overstable driver. I'm fairly certain this is the same mold as Millennium's EXP1 but I could be mistaken. I personally find the two discs interchangable with the EXP1 being a hair longer. This disc does not glide very well. Although this adds to its level of predictability, it tends to want to fall out of the air when it slows down and doesn't have very much carry to it. I find that I get about 10-20% more distance on the same line with an Eagle in calm conditions. The main downfall of this disc is its durability. One good tree whack and it will want to fold in half. I very much look forward to this disc in the CE line as its fragile tendencies have led me to remove it from my bag. This disc is not very beginner friendly. Submit Your Review Back to Main Page |
