Player Reviews Posted 08-21-07 Submitted by Anonymous Location: West Michigan Level: Amateur Avg Drive: 450 Disc Weights: 173 Review: I have two TeeRex's; a 173 Star and 173 DX I have found that the DX gives me an extra 15-20 feet on a drive. I personally believe that DX discs fly farther. The only drawback is that if you hit a tree your DX disc will have a much different future from when you purchased it. If you are looking for pure distance in an open field give a DX TeeRex a try...you will be pleased Posted 05-03-07 Submitted by Chris Barns Avg Drive: 400 Disc Weights: 170 Review: The DX TeeRex is a very very nice disc. I normally throw champion plastic for my long range drivers as I tend to get more snap, but I wanted to try the TeeRex and since I hate the Star plastic, I went with the DX. At first I was skeptical about this disc. I just wasnt getting the distance. The Teerex needs a lot of speed to fly far and I have finally figured it out. I threw this disc over 425 feet the last time I used it. I throw with a lot of speed and I can get this to do the perfect s-curve. This disc will always fade back left and is very nice when playing in the wind. NOT FOR BEGINNERS. If you're a player that can get good distance with an orc or excellent distance with a teebird, then try this disc! Submit Your Review Back to Main Page |
