Player Reviews Posted 02-20-07 Submitted by Mason C mason@ricekiller.com Disc Weights: Unknown Review: Found a #1 Flyer today, decent condition, but definatly been used quite a bit. different design than i am used to. after a few holes i hit a long straight and decided to see what it does. to my surprise it is the straightest disc i've thrown. next i put a small hyzer on it, it flattened out and hyzered a small bit at the end of it's flight. not the farthest throwing disc, but definatly a go-to disc for a nice straight shot. i forgot to mention this was also with20-25 mph winds today. 11-03-04 Submitted by sartoa61@uwosh.edu In 2003 I found a quite beat up version of Lightning's #1 Flyer weighing 164g. At first I did not bother throwing it due to the condition it was in. Later on though I decided to practice throwing it. To my surprise this disc turned out to be a very good staight as an arrow roller. When thrown forehand and flat it will dive rather quickly(within 50') and roll very straight until it dies. I also own a #1 Roller which rolls roughly 280' on a good roll but it's not as predictable as the Flyer. A non beat up Flyer I think flies pretty good but a trashed version is great.
