Player Reviews Posted 10-03-06 Submitted by nate simpson Location: plainwell michigan Level: Amateur Avg Drive: 350 Disc Weights: 167-175 Review: love the omega line. I've used similar innova and discraft disc but this is an amazing product. the super soft omega is a putting machine. hold a straight line or curve what ever you throw. i do not drive with the super soft for the tendency to get tor up on trees . i do drive the q-mega and the sirius omega. i get a nice left turn(rhfh side arm) out of the Q-mega and a straighter drive out of the sirius plastic. the super soft grabs chain like glue and the Q and sirius do a great but not nearly as good job with the chains. the omega is basically a bead less aviar . it has a slight fade. i use mostly heavy weights and find the Q-mega turns over more easy at heavy weights during drives and fades more normal at lower weights(rhfh side arm). I've used the omega for most of this season and have seen a dramatic improvement in my short game and mid range. these are my personal experience and do not take this as the outcome that you will have. Posted: 9-13-04 Submitted by: fred@coxsystech.com Aviar lovers rejoice, they may call it an Omega, Q-mega or whatever - but it is the best aviar ever. One disc I know and love is the aviar, and the Q-mega is the slickest yet - and I mean slick, especially for drives. This disc is fast, not like the new super drivers, but having thrown this mold quite a while, this one is speedy through the air. Stable, dependable, and with the new plastic - tough. For touch drives and upshots, this is the one. Posted: 9-23-03 Submitted by ChefAaronMkirsch@msn.com the omega in new quantum material is not easy to get a handle just out of the box, the beneath is a bit,...........well sharp and you will more than likely need to use a fan grip for longer up shots, for me its been about 1 month of like 6-9 rounds per week to just begin to get the benefits. but now!!!!! holly crap suddenly with a little wind the thing is a great up shot and putter. I use the omega "AP" for putting I sorta got rid of the light ROC's and got into using the same disc from 250 and out, but now I can change it up with a bit more stable quantum omega putter. it’s a great way to improve the short game. since my arm is getting a bit longer the CE super ROC I use for 250 and up to 350 is all fitting togeather. try the quantum its good stuff Submit Your Review Back to Main Page |
