Player Reviews Posted 09-21-05 Submitted by Patrick Amazing1boy@aol.com Location: Colorado Level: Amateur Avg Drive: 450 Disc Weights: 171 Review: Everyone says these wham-o discs are beginner discs, and i agree they make great beginner discs. But I love(d) the touchline true. It flyes extreamly straight out of the box and wears slowly. It will wear a bit understable but i takes a while. it is capable of a straight flight up to 275' with minimal fade. Great for tight courses. Holds anhyzer and hyzer lines well, but not as well as a x buzzz. It is hard to learn the distance because it gets alot more glide than any other midrange ive ever thrown, overall good disc. I am a beginner who has been playing Disc Golf for 4 months now and am completely addicted. I throw both back hand and side arm. It reminds me of a DX Shark. The durability of this disc has been great also. My local course is extremely wood and will eat up anything that is not made of durable plastic. I would rate it more durable then the Pro plastic but not and durable as the Champion plastic. I have hit trees hard and landed it on asphalt with little more then a scuff on the disc. This disc is my favorite disc for shorter hole drives, but watch out for over throws it has a lot of glide. This disc is not the best choice for a windy day. Submit Your Review Back to Main Page |
