Hey Blake, it'd be cool to take you up, but I honestly don't know what to talk about. I feel like it'd be a valuable chat but I'd just be like "So....uh....how's it goin?"

heh. half the time it's not even about disc. conversations tend to drift all over the place.

Usually starts as a question about a disc or form and then drifts to video games, movies, guitars.

I guess I'm an idiot for thinking you would be flooded with phone calls and didn't bother to pm you.

I think it would be fun to talk with you Blake...but my online time at DGR is too infrequent to catch these notes. Indeed, this is the first time I noticed this thread active.

Even more cool would be to catch you in person and play a round, or several! If you're ever in NorCal...

I would love to chat disc in person some time. How often do you work at GGGT? I was up there several times this summer ( I'm from Apple Valley) but I'm too timid to just start up a conversation; plus I have no idea what you look like haha. Maybe I'll just have to jump on your next phone night!

Walk in, find a person who works there, "Hi, is Blake working today?" From there, "Hi, my name is <....> and I wanted to thank you for keeping the website up. It's been a big help....." spew forth the platitudes and then listen. He's real easy to talk to. Hell, you don't even have to talk about disc golf! :D

:D

I am about as shy as you can be and even I gave him a ring :P

Honestly, most disc golfers are really friendly and easy to talk with. I'm always surprised to find a jackass in the sport, but you know they are everywhere. Just a lot more good eggs than bad in disc golf. All the disc golf store folks I've spoken with have been super cool, so it's hard go wrong expecting some good vibes in a disc golf store.
