Three holes in one

Go to the course when it isn't as busy. Play the hole as a forehand, backhand, and roller/tomohawk/thumber. This forces you to see the possibilities and develop more throws. I have done it and learned that there are advantages to each throw.

Best of luck

Love the idea. I've tried to do a few course using only one type of throw. Takes less time, but I feel your method would work better because you're there in the moment.

The only downside to this method, is you automatically make an adjustment to wind conditions, etc... so you will correct your throws accordingly, but I do this when I play a 9hole round sometimes, I will throw my normal shot and then some other experimental shot.
