Best courses near Sarasota, FL?

I'll be in Sarasota Florida for Christmas.

Can probably sneak out to play two course in the area ... any suggestions? I'd be willing to drive 45 minutes or so ... anymore would have a detrimental effect on how much free time I have to actually play.

North Watertower, Cliff Stephens, NE Coachman, and Tocobaga are all good courses. If I were there and had to pick 2 it would be Cliff Stephens and then NE Coachman

Hey man I live in Sarasota!!!! We have two good courses in Sarasota. I am a Lakeview whore. Watertower is a great Park too. Tose are right there man. If you are going to travel abit then Cliff Stevens or Maximo. The two in Sarasota shouldnt be missed though man. pm me if you need a guide with a cooler full of beer..
