anyone in IL played at madison meadows?

this is the closest disc golf course to my house and was wondering if anyone else here has played there (madison meadows in lombard,IL)....i have been told it is one of the top 20 courses in the US, but not sure because i haven't played anything outside of IL.

i have only ever heard that it is an awesome course. if i didn't have to drive the the cluster !@#$ of traffic i'd go down and play it.

its a decent course, definitely not in the top 20 however maybe in illinois.

Played it on a business trip to Chicago (I'm from New York). Decent course, mostly open, some trees with average tunnel shots, but nothing too tight. Nowhere near my top 20 courses, and I've played somewhere around 50+ courses

Madison Meadows is a good beginner to intermediate course as it has a good range of distance, but doesn't really force you to consider course management - it's basically a drive and putt course with the occasional crush, approach, putt hole.

I played Lombard while on a buisness trip in Aug 2007, it was nice but not top 20 material. I haven't found a truely great Chicago area course yet. Lombard
is very flat and fairly open which I like, on almost every hole a three was
fairly easy to obtain. This course along with Shady Oaks are 2 decent courses
near O'Hare.

on hole #8 they made a childrens park in the middle of the fairway. it could definitey get in the way of some drives. pretty lame
