lookong for something within an hour or so.
ive played a few but can only remember west park and channahon??
so what other good ones are there? i think one of my brothers friends helped build highland, and he said that one is tuff.
i like courses where you have to shoot over water...any like that over there?

If you go
here and use 60638 as the zip code you can get a list of courses in the area. I'd limit it to 25 miles. Then click the "Rating" column header twice to sort the results by course rating so you see the best courses first.

Head to Crown Point just across the Indiana border with four courses on one site at Lemon Lake. Only one hole has water.

The Oaks in Mokena,IL is the best Chicago area course that I have played. Chi-town just isn't a great area for DG.
