Kansas City, MO 9th and maybe 10th

I'm taking a trip to minneapolis from springfield, MO the 5th. I'm returning on the 8th and plan to stay at family in kearney, mo and then visit as many courses as I can the next two days.

I really want to play waterworks.

However, that's the only "good" course I know of in kansas city area. I just want to play the "top" courses in the area, that are actually worth it. Can you locals make a list of the good courses in the area so I can start planning my route?

I'd also like to maybe play with some locals who can show me around, play some rounds etc etc if anyone is up for that. I'm sure most people will be working/class though.

Tell me how many rounds you want to play, and I'll tell you what courses to check out.

The only day I can really play with you is on the 10th. Waterworks Glow league (randow draw doubles) at 6:00pm. Bring your lights because we play a lot of night golf in this city.

As many as I can take in a two day period. I'd imagine I'd start around 10am on the 9th and leave around 4pm before dark. so thats a solid 6 hours, I'd say that leaves 3-4 just on the 9th. I want to play waterworks and the good ones at least twice though.

The 10th, I'm open for whatever. I don't have lights, but I can try and get some before hand. never played glow before so that would be fun.

If you play WyCo or Cliff Drive twice (which I would define as the "good" ones), those will be the only rounds you play that day probably. Both are long, exhausting courses. If you play Blue Valley, that's going to take up a significant amount of your stamina to play another round that day. If I were you, this would be my itenerary:

Day 1:
Waterworks
WyCo
another round at WyCo if you're up for it

Day 2:
Swope or Rosedale
Cliff Driver
Waterworks Glow

blue valley is fun, bring your hiking gear, 4 canteens, a walky talky, and lots of granola bars

Blue Valley only have 4 holes that I would consider special.

ive only played there a couple times, so hole #'s i cant remember very well, but it will test your arm as it is a very very long course, i enjoy it, but ww is def more fun. Next time, ima have to hit up swope and rosedale, i hear they are very good courses

Go to WyCo and Cliff Drive. Length AND Accuracy. Swope and Rosedale are both nice, and are a test when they're tipped out, but WyCo and CD are the real gems of the city.
