I don't know what you can garner from the layout without having played it but this course is about five minutes from my house. Tight and wooded with ever-present elevation change.
They tore it down though and moved it just a touch. It took a little doing but the course is now almost back up. I got the opportunity to play the front nine the other day and it still feels like the old course--but like some secret holes that we never were able to play before.
I can't wait till May 5-7--it's the first tournament.
Damn it feels good to have a home course again.
