New course in MN

Western MN will have a new course opneing soon.

It's a 9 holer designed by Shane Kruse and will be located @ South Park in Hutchinson.

So far the tee-boards are in and the basket stems are installed. It should be ready to play in the next week or two.

Highlights of the course:

Elevation changes
Wooded, so accuracey is key
Lefties and righties should both be challenged
most holes are 275+ with a couple close to 400 ( i don't know if they have been measured)
Hyzer and anhzer balance
Low traffic park
Bathrooms, picknick tables, a grill ( I think)
Signs will be installed
natural tee pads, though concrete may be added later.

I'll post here again when the course is ready to go.

I believe I was the first to play it and now hold the course record at 3 under....of course I've played it dozens of times without baskets.

Lengths are 300, 316, 292, 275, 383, 226, 267, 292, and 270.
The 226, and the 270 hole are blind tee shots because of elevation. The 267 hole is a blind tee shot because of trees. The 383 hole is a monster anny.

I played it on Sunday (no baskets), I think I would have endup around +3. Would have birdied #6.
