Picnic Bend Park in San Angelo

For anybody traveling through West Texas, San Angelo, Tx now has a 3rd course in town. It's a 9 hole course located on 14th Street and N. River Dr.. The park name is Picnic Bend Park.

The course has some decent elevation change(at least for San Angelo), a river that is in play on 4 of the holes. Street OB that is in play on 4-5 of the holes. Lots of big pecan trees to play under. Most of the holes are in the 250-300 range and will require good placement of the disc. Several shots needed to shot well at this course....

The baskets are Mach Vs, and the pads are concrete. Each pad has the distance and hole number on it. And under each basket there is an arrow in the concrete pointing to the next teebox.
