Orlando Golf

Headed down for a week in September! Any feedback on any of the courses would be appreciated.

Will have my own car, so willing to travel if it is worth it!

Side note: Sgt Jasper Disc Golf Course in Hardeeville, SC will be opne for play by 10/15. It is one mile off I-95, Exit 8 in SC. Hope to see some souht bound folks make the pit stop. It will be an awesome course, and I will post before and after pictures for your viewing pleasure.

When in Sept, I'll be in Orlando Sept 13th - 16th.
T-2 The Turkeynator is a challenging course in Orlando
Wickham Park in Melbourne is nice
But if you dont mind a 2hr trip Crystal River's Red Hawk is worth it.

I will be in town the following week. I will paly all that is in Orlando, and am willing to take a road trip the day that the fam does "Dinner w/ The Princess".

Have you been to the Canyon Course in Brooksville?

The Canyon has fallen into the evil hands of developers, a victim of urban sprawl.
You could check out Clearwater, home of the Champ, Cliff Stevens. 1.5 hrs from O-town.

Barnett Park is a good course in Orlando. Nice FL foliage.

Is the Canyon course being referred to, the samre course that is only 9 holes, and shares the same route as a ball golf course?

Sounds unlikely to me. However, I spoke w/ soemone at the course yesterday, and they reported that the course was open.

Totally different course. There would be no way to have a ball course at the Gran Canyon. You are refering to the Quarry Course in Brooksville FL.

Just got back from Orlando tuesday

Barnett Park was a beautiful course and fun to play, great locals, start early in the afternoon because in the evening becomes crowded with football players and I don't thing they care.

T-2 the Turkeynator WOW challenging, and scenic

Both courses are great love playing new courses with great locals.
There are also leagues going on 3 to 4 days out of the week.
Played random draw doubles at Barnett and took 1st
