Ok guys, here's my latest list. I've put all the potentials in my wish list but I have to cut at least 2 or 3 from this list due to time constraints.

* Lincoln Park (Oak Ledges DGC) -- Massillon, OH
* Lobdell Reserve DGC -- Alexandria, OH
* Mt. Airy Forest -- Cincinnati, OH

Lake Shore Park and Sims Park Disc Golf don't really count as those are courses I'll try to play on the way home if I have time since they're pretty close to I-90. A few are obviously must-plays (Idlewild, Mt. Airy, Brent Hambrick).

So which courses would you eliminate from the list?

* Removed Arthur O. Fisher Park in Dayton, Riverbend in Findlay and Hudson Springs Park in Hudson.

Idlewild (KY) Best scenery, challenge, and long shots around
Oxford (goes right thru Miami U's campus
Mt Airy Fairly long course. Hard to get a par. This ain't no duece or die course
Monroe community park Heard it's good, & technical, haven't played yet

You could probably take off Fisher in Dayton. Belmont is a much better experience in that area. They're very similar courses, but Belmont is just more interesting. And it's right around the corner from Hazy Shade, which is a great place to buy plastic.

Definitely play Hoover Dam.
Lobdell Reserve is in BFE. Great course, but really only worth getting to if it's on the way to your next destination. It's not somewhere you can just swing over and play from Columbus.

And the Findlay course is nowhere near any of these others.

I've actually already eliminated Findlay. Lobdell actually will be sort of on our way as we're coming from the northeast part of the state by Cleveland/Akron and then heading towards Columbus.

I took Arthur O. Fisher Park off at your recommendation as well. I'll edit my original post to reflect the changes too.

FYI, here is my updated list with the cuts in case anyone was curious. Belmont might not make the cut due to time constraints. We'll have to see how we do. The goal is 4 courses per day except for day 1 and the last day on the way home.

I'd take Roscoe Ewing Park -- Medina, OH off the list.

Really? Isn't that the home course of the world champion Jenkins clan?

discndav, why do you say that? I only ask since I've heard good things about that course.

I played Roscoe solo in the early 90's, it was rather wooded and not well marked plus I shot lousy. It's probably much better now.

A round at Idlewild will take almost 4 hours. Banklick is not too far away and plays pretty quick for 24 holes. Mt airy is great and so is AJ Jolly but if you have real time constraints I would play Idlewild and either Banklick or Mt. Airy. Play those two rounds and you'll be tired and satisfied because you played two awsome courses. You have to play Idlewild it is one of the best in the country and is probably the future of DG.

We plan on playing them all. I don't think Idlewild will take us 4 hours as it took us 4 hours to finish the 54 holes at Codorus. Unless you mean there is a lot of traffic at the course which would hold us up. I think we will be there pretty early in the morning (probably 10ish, Mt. Airy is first, around 8ish).

I didn't mean to say you shouldn't play them all, I was just saying if you're pressed for time...
Playing Mt. Airy first is a good idea it can get pretty crowded. After Idlewild you can get on 275 and be at Banklick in 15- 20 minutes. Get back on 275 to go to AJ Jolly and you've had a great day.
