Orlando and Chicagoo Courses?

I'm possibly going to Chicago in March, and Orlando the following week for some trade shows. I'd like to get in a round of DG in each of these places.

1. Chicago: Close to the Embassy Suites Lakefront ?

2. Orlando: What courses are close to the Orange County Convention Center?
I'm staying at the Embassy Suites on 8978 International Drive.

I think you will like Orlando and your staying in a good area.
T-2 and Turkey Lake are in the same park. Great courses you've gotta at least hit T-2
Take 4 east, to S Kirkman Road/435 and head north, turn left on Conroy then a right on Hiawassee Rd the park is on the right. Small entry fee into the park.
These are less than 2 miles from where you are staying.


Barnett Park there are 2 courses in that park also
Take 4 east, to S Kirkman Road/435 and head north, turn right on Hwy 50/Colonial Drive, on the left you will see a BMX park turn left there and that is Barnett park probably 8 to 9 miles from your hotel.

What dates are you going to be in Orlando?

Looks like I will be in Orlando from the 24th to the 28th. The only day I'm going to have to play is the 24th, might be able to play on teh 25th, depends on if the install crew for my trade show booth shows up on time and gets the job done in the 2 hours it takes.

Chicago I'll be 16th - 19th, 16th is the only day I'll be able to play.

You definately need more time, but in my opinion T-2 has everything. If I had one day I don't know which park to play Barnett or T-2 I just dont know.

Hmmm..Maybe I'll come up there How's your courses? Covered in snow or playable?

I've had business in Chicago in the last year have have hit 4 of the courses near O'Hare airport. This is not near the downtown or Lakefront though.

Shady Oaks in Streamwood is a few miles west of OHare, it is a 18 course
and fairly long on the back 9. It can be wet in areas, I liked it and will return.

Lombard Commons in Lombard was nice too. I twas fairly open and very flat.
There is another 9 hole course in Lombard that I wouldn't bother with.

Clark Pk in Elk Grove Village was only 9 holes but in a nice area and park.
