I am going to be down on this course for a week...

Can anybody tell me about it.... Midnightbiker - I am talkin' to you....

I haven't played it but from what I hear it is short and real technical. Lotsa trees in the fairways.

I've played it and really enjoyed it. Scooter hates it for some reason. Yea there's lotsa trees, they provide a great canopy though. The pines are soft and won't chew a disc as bad. It's by water so bring plennnnnty of Insect repellent for all the mosquitos. Most of the holes are under 400 and tight. Some really picturesque holes. Good for Houston. I think McDade in Conroe and Oak Meadow in Cypress are'nt too far away either.

Specially the headsup on bug spray... will still have some ice on the ground up here... wouldn't have thought to have that in my bag.

You are correct. Very interesting course. Very challenging. I have played this course more than any other. They are improving the course slowly and they finally have a sign with a course map out there now near the first tee. I am to busy today, but I hope to play out there next weekend.

Hey Midnight Biker or JWT, would either of you be interested in meeting up for a round this week? I haven't played River Grove but it is a course I've been meaning to get down to and play for a while now. I always find a new course easier and more enjoyable to play when playing with someone who knows the course.

We are leaving Tuesday morning to head back to Springpatch... and we are doing the touristy thing tomorrow morning... NASA with the kids.

I am going to try and play The Woodlands tomorrow afternoon if we get back in time or might just swing by the Kingwood course again...

All depends on the kids.

I found a couple of lines today that I missed the first two times playing...

4 Deuces today... wish I could say the rest were pars... they weren't.

You hit a tree early on that course and it makes you pay...
