I gotta get the hell out of town. Which town should I hit for a couple of days of great disc golf?

I guess you could go to Austin if you're into Birkenstock sandals and patchouli...

...but golfers know that Dallas is where it's at

Seriously though...you couldn't go wrong with either. I've never played in San An, so I don't have an opinion there.

Austin: Circle C, Circle R (both courses are fantastic), Bartholomew (if its not still under construction)...I know there are plenty more, I just haven't played them.

Dallas: Harry Myers (houck course), Lester Lorch (2 courses, 1 DG-only park), Veteran's Park, Bicentennial Park (up and coming course...on its way to being "world class"), and of course Zboaz in Ft. Worth!

The scenery in Austin beats Dallas, hands down...but I think there are more course in D-town. I'd say flip a coin for this one :D

Also, if you want to see where the sport of DIsc Golf and Tournament courses are going.......Manor Tx just 20 minutes East of Austin has a new Championship 18 Course 8) "Bigger and Better"

Apprentice, eh? Is Mr Houck still seeking followers for his flock?

I'm late on this....but AUSTIN!!

Pease, Searight, Williamson County, Old Settlers', Zilker, Circle C, Bartholemew...all within half an hour of downtown. Oh yeah, and if you go to Searight or Circle C (just down the road from each other) be sure to go by the Disc Nation retail store (about 1/2 mile west of Searight)...everything they have online is there and the 600' driving range out back is great to test new plastic.
