Burr Oak - green lake WI

Postby Roy » Sat Jun 14, 2008 10:02 am

Anyone played Burr Oaks in Green Lake? Looks interesting, but I cant find info about it. Is it permission only?

(edit - I thought I was posting in the "Wisconsin" thread... )

Ok, maybe I should have read the thread I should have posted in...

FYI; I called the number for the Burr Oaks DGC in Green Lakes and it seems like quite the hassel to get in there to play.

It's private, they have no tees or tee signs, they use the same basket for multiple holes, and the only time you can play is when they're up there for the weekends (which is sporadic). However, if you do get the urge, I was told to call ahead on a Thursday or Friday to see IF they'll be up there for the weekend.

Not yet. I've hear good things about the other 9-holer on Green Lake in the church camp. Pay to play ($5.00 per car per day) but I've hear nothing but praise and I believe they'll adding 9 more as well.
