We finished up 27 and were recuperating under the big tree in th lot and the SCPD came up and very politely and apologetically told us due to the danger (there are several bad brush fires in SC county today, it is 95 degrees and primed)
The course will be closed immediately and will not open this weekend unless conditions change dramatically.
Too bad for the nice couple from Portland who just pulled up to be denied.
Call the park dept or the PD before taking the trip.

Fire danger is still pretty high so check before you go. The park was safe they just did not want to risk any more fires.
