Swel have you ever taken a 10 on a hole? It's very possible here. I think the tournament record is a six circle 14 on hole 4 (aka circles) at the Woodshed.
http://www.westvirginiaopen.com/shedhole4.htm At 319' it's one of the shorter holes on the course but there's definitely a reason it is rated a par 5. (I have a strategy that nets me a 4 almost every time.)

Playing in a hurricane I shot 76s on both courses.

The next day it was fairly nice and I shot a 68 on the Woodshed which I was pretty happy with.

I got 3 birdies for the weekend and they all came on the Whippin' Post (and I still shot a 76...)

A lot of fun though and it makes you learn new shots (because that's the only thing that will get you out of shit). I was there for 3 days, and I came home with a halfway decent forehand putter shot and a wicked forehand roller.

Swel have you ever taken a 10 on a hole?

hell I just took a 7 on a par 3 yesterday in 20 mph winds. Are there any tee markers ect at paw paw? or do I need to print a map or somthing?

Hmm, the tees are marked. But not all of them that well. I played with someone who had been there many times before, so that make it easier to find my way around. So, what I'm trying to say is, I didn't have to find stuff on my own, so I'm not sure how easy or hard that may be. A couple holes kinda have awkward walks to the next hole so it's a little harder to find, but that's all I can think of. A map may help, but I don't know if/where one is available.

I think the tees on the woodshed are pretty well marked and easy to navigate from one basket to the next tee. There are a few spots on the whipping post where you could get lost because of a longer walk to the next tee.

If you do decide to stop by on a weekday with your co-worker you'll likely only have time for one course so I'd say play the woodshed. If you have time you could play some of the open holes on whipping post they're fun to play and easy to navigate.

well its hard to say exactly what the shedule will be, it just depends on when we finish the work we have to do. If all goes perfect we will finish late wed or thurs so we have to stay the night again, then I can leave the hotel at 7 am and be on the course between 8-9. jefferson is the county just south of morgan so it should be a short drive from the hotel to the course.
