anyone know of a pro shop or a place to find discs in the columbia area?
its a game of mistakes. whoever can make the least amount of mistakes wins.

There is a PIAS in Columbia. Not sure of the address though.

how is the selection at play it again? i've never been to one 4 disc golf

Back in the day D-Sport downtown had a nice selection of discs. I have not been there in years, but it's worth a check. If it is still there and where it always was, D-Sport is on the street just north of Broadway way over on the east end of downtown, a couple blocks over from College.

Actually back in the day you could buy disc from Rick Rothstein at Albert-Oakland, but those days are long gone.

PIAS here has a really good selection of both new and used, but if you're looking at getting millenium or the like, there isn't much of that there. DSport downtown no longer carries disc golf stuff, at least the last time I was down there.
