Any tips on how to find an SSA rating for a particular course? I can find tourney results and round ratings but it would be nice when travelling to new locations to check SSA's of local courses.

They can be looked up by state on the PDGA site...
...once they've been hooked back in again
At least the Course Directory just came back online.

So usually the course directory will get you SSA? I wasn't sure if it was just not fully functional or if the info was just elswhere.

The SSAs have never been linked to the Course Directory, at least yet. You look them up by clicking what used to be the Course Statistics link on the tournament results page for each event. As of now, the only link there is the Event Info link.
