Public Service Announcement

Postby curt » Tue May 05, 2009 12:17 pm

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I have been seeing a lot of snakes out on the courses lately. (6 in the last 6 rounds). While most haven't looked to dangerous, one or two may have been. I just wanted to make sure everyone knew that the snakes were out and moving about and that everyone was keeping their eyes open.

yep. i don't know exactly how 100% accurate that is, but i think my source is good. i've been hearing that from dagon owen, who is buds with mike olse, the guy who did the redesign and is directing the city crews out there. i just assume that those two are in contact regarding this factoid. because everyone in their mother is fiending for this.

or maybe the insiders are just keeping everyone away for its virgin weekend

Waterloo's holding a tourny there in June, i think. maybe July? Lou hooked me for the artwork.

The Circle C Disc Golf Course in Austin is now open for play again!!!

CIRCLE C IS NOW OPEN

We're very excited about the completion of this great course and want to acknowledge the contributions of all of those involved, including Mike Olse, Dan Mueller, Houck Design, Mike Graham, Josh Rippie, the Waterloo Club, the City of Austin, and all of the volunteers who came out to help.

Click Here to see the new Circle C Course Map.

Check out the New Amenities

The Circle C course is exciting not only because of the improvements to the layout and play of the course, but also because of all of the incredible improvements that the City and work crew have put into this awesome course. Some of these improvements include:

- Cement Tee Pads
- New Tee Signs
- Giant Stone Benches Throughout
- More Garbage Recepticles
- All NEW Innova DISCatcher Pro Baskets
- Fresh Mulch on all the Fairways
- Errosion-Control Measures
- and many more

We couldn't be happier or more proud of all involved in making the redesign of this course a great and cooperative effort between players and the city.
