I think the Open players should play BV 3 times instead of 1.

They are using BV for the finals, so that will put of few of you on it twice. It looks like the Pro's will play Rosedale up top and Cliff Drive twice. They hit Blue Valley and Waterworks once. The Semis are back at Rosedale, so it looks like up top is going to be the workhorse course for you.

There's a whole process for going to worlds. First invites are sent out are sent out based on the AM points you earned in 2008. Those invited respond back if they would like to go, and the remaining spots are given on a 1st come, 1st serve basis. Open registration normally begins in the spring, so if you get in there quickly, you should get a spot in the field.

As for price, I don't think that's been set. If the information isn't up on the world's site, then we're not sure yet.

Is Black Hoof a new course, or is it a temp set up for Worlds?

We're talking of pushing Rosedale UT back, which would put par in the neighborhood of 58 (par 4's on 1, 8, 17, and 18), and a lot of the longer pins on the par 3's.

Waterworks can only get so long, and will be a 55 I'm sure (par 4 on #6). Cliff is a par 56/57 (#13 and #18 being the 4's out there, and would say the new tee for #1 makes it a short par 4), and is pretty much long with a small section of technical short wooded shots.

Blue Valley will be all long I imagine, including the long long pin for #7.

All of the decisions about pin placements won't be made until well into next year though.

Hey, I'm really trying. Trying to convince Jack, John, and Rick is another matter. Plus, Innova has to actually run them.

I'd love to be supportive of the the DGR crew, but I'd have to side with Jack, Chappy and Rick on this one. When I hear "full color Ultimate discs for World's" I think "disc I'll get in a 1/2 price sale at Disc Golf World in two years."

Actually, that's a lie. Rick never cuts anything to 1/2 price.

Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe this Super Class idea will take off. If it was me, I'd stay conservative and stick with stuff you know will sell.
