KC Worlds 2009

so, i'm thinking about playing am worlds this year... problem is that my wife is having a hard time getting excited about vacationing in kansas city. anyone have suggestions for fun and touristy things we can do in the area? (already know about bbq!)

What does your wife like? I mean I can go to KC, pound down some Boulevard, throw some disc golf, have some more Boulevard, hit a Royals game, down some more Boulevard...what's not to like? I'm not sure that is what your wife is looking for, though.

hm... historical stuff, sightseeing, antique shopping.. occasional live music, bars/pubs..

The Crown Center is right in the middle of the city. You're 10 minutes away from the Plaza (premier shopping area in KC), and 5 minutes from the Power and Light district (newest entertainment district).
