The First Dam Tournament

October 2, 2010, Libby, Montana at the Dam

For those of you who live in the Northwest United States or want to travel there, a new disc golf course has been built at the Libby Dam.

We plan on having a tournament on the 2nd of October, 2010 as an unofficial grand opening (there course is unnamed).

There is some serious climbing and some long throws (500+ feet), with optional tee blocks and some great elevated shots.

We hope this will some day be part of the Montana Point series but this is going to be an awesome course with great views of the reservoir. There is free camp sites available and there will be a entrance fee TBD. The Dam is approximately 17 miles North of Libby, Montana.
