Building Igloos: Friday, January 28th. We will be out in Como Park building igloos and setting up the camping area.
Registration is currently open. Pre –Registration is open and filling up fast. We already have 3 teams registered for Ultimate and are pushing 75 for the Disc Golf event. There are 150 SWEET player packs promised to the golfers so get registered early if you want one.
We are replacing the Raffle with a drive to sell Coupon books. They are available now at GGGT and will be for sale for 2 weeks after the event. Our goal here is to raise as much money for the food shelf as possible. The Coupon books we are asking everyone to buy are $20, but they are worth $100’s! There is a free oil change and 2 free pizzas on just the first three pages. Please buy one and if you are motivated to help us raise some additional money for Second Harvest – put on your sales hat and call on your friends, co-workers, and family. We will have prizes for the top 3 sales people.
Additionally, we are asking everyone to get pledge donations from friends and family to support the food shelf drive. The pledge form is attached to this email and can be based on the number of holes you play. If you want to play all you night, you will have to register to camp and attend the camping class. We are hoping for some hearty soles willing to spend the night with us in Como Park and exercise a marathon of Disc Golf with pledged support. The course closes at dark for those that are not camping.
Regardless of your level of participation in our fund raising efforts, we are glad to have you on board and hope you will do what you are comfortable doing – there is no obligation.
We have most of the event merchandise up on the site for sale, and more to come in the next few days.
There will be some new field games this year to compliment the Hole in One and Putting games. We will be offering an Accuracy challenge and have a representative there to demo and challenge everyone to a game of Sticks and Cups.
Thanks for taking part and helping us make this great community oriented event a huge success.
Sincerely,
The staff and ownership of Gotta Go Gotta Throw Inc.
