Anybody play any of the florida events?

my friend and i were thinking of trying to get on the road a few weekends to play some tournys around florida. i think we are going to play the gator invitational(not sure thats the proper name) on april 14 and 15.

will anyone else be there, know anything about the course, or will any of you be at other events or know of others that are good events to hit?

neither my friend nor I have played a pdga event, and only I have played in an organized tourney. this is really our first foray into serious tournaments, so is there anything we should be sure to watch for?

Yea I try to play the Florida Tournaments, but work usually has me or my wife traveling a lot. Go to http://www.fabflatour.org/ and check out the Tournaments. Our Major Sponsor Sun King "Mike" is a really cool guy. My wife and I were signed up for the Gator Country Classic, but work takes her to Baltimore for a while so had to pull out on that one. There will be a lot of players at the Gator Country Classic, beautiful course and a joy to play. I'm sure this one will definately fill up even though it is AMS only. A lot of great courses and the competition is awesome on the Florida Tour, come check it out.
