West Texas Teams

OK, so when there was some doubt if Texas Teams was going to happen or not(now we know it is, but we wanted to make sure we had something similar just in case) we here in San Angelo started putting together our own team event called West Texas Teams...pretty original eh?

Anyway this is going to go down on Oct. 27th - 28th. Teams will be made up of 6 players, 1 pro, 3 adv, 2 ams. It will be formated just like Texas Teams, where it's a round robin tourney until all teams play each other. Once that has happened there will be a playoff between the top 2 records to determine who is 2007's West Texas best team. Also we are limiting this years event to 10 teams so we can get our feet wet with this style event.

It's match play, pro vs. pro, adv 1 vs. adv 1 ect. 9 hole skins, no carry over's. So you can win a match 1-0. The team with the most individual wins between the two teams wins the match.

So anyone interested in a "warm up" to Texas Teams?
