Took 6th place, walked out of there with $40 ( $20 each) in plastic. Ended up getting two Ontario Rocs and a Crystal Z Challenger, donated what was left to the club.

What division did you play smoke? I played am 2 on sunday and finished in the middle of the pack. Not to happy with that but I wanted to play in a harder division. On Saturday I did play as am1 just to fill a spot and I gotta say that those guys are good!

We played AM3. My partner had already signed up as AM3 but his partner canceled on him so he needed to pick someone up to replace him. I told him I would be his partner if he needed but I really don't like Fitz.

We did OK I guess, missed allot of stupidly short putts on account of the wind. We had a 30ft putt for birdie on one of the added holes , I believe it was A? It was the one that played back by the skate ramps and the pin was sitting behind the backstop of the softball field. Supposedly it was 555ft, I threw a roller there and rolled it around the right side of the softball diamond. My partner threw and had a nice layup, so I tried running it and the wind pushed it right to the ground ended up hitting the front of the basket. First round we finished +2 and the second we finished -1, so ended up taking a +1 overall.

What was your team name on Sunday? Ours was "Team Whatever".

Team Shake N Bake

First round 3 down, going into the second round we felt very good but after looking at 6 or 7 birdies and missing all of em we finishied 2 up for round 2. Our group never showed on hole 7 for round 2 so we joined up with the bobs and played in a six some. Over all good day looks like all the same people play in the tournaments huh? This was my third tournament.

I didn't see the ace, but I did hear about it. Nice ace there it was on #13 right? I have hit the cage twice on that during casual rounds but I think Fitz just plain hates me. Either that or its the baskets. That has always been my complaint about Fitz. Some of the baskets are smaller then normal, or others the chains are rusted stiff. We had 2 par shots the first round, both maybe 15ft away, both right at the center of the basket with very little power and yet both of them bounced right out.

On a side note you plan on heading to the Ace race at dewitt or Kick out the Yams?

yea ill be there for the ace race on sunday and ill also be playing kick out the yams. This will be my first ace race so im excited about that. Kick out the yams ill be playing am 2 again! GW is my home course so my goal is to shoot zero. I can usually birdie hole 1,2,8,11,15, and 18 but sometimes the easiest holes can be the hardest if your putting is off. Right now im trying to practice putting about 30 minutes a day. If you around today I think if the rain holds off I will be at Grand Woods for a practice round or two

I am going to try to make it to Ace Race but I don't know yet if I will. Kick out the Yams though, I will most likely be there. Not sure what I will play yet, I kind of bounce between AM2 and AM3. I'm a strong AM3 player that has some AM2 days. Although :P if DJ has anything to say about it I will probably be playing AM2.

As for birdie holes at GW, mine are usually 1,2,6,8,9,11,15,and 18. However, I have never hit all of them in one round. I am hoping to add #12 to that list soon, I have bombed a roller on that a few times and made birdie I just need to make it consistent.

I won't make it out today, The only times I can get out to the course is on the weekends. I do home health care for my grandfather so I am at home Mon-Fri 9am -6pm.
