North Texas Series tournament / tournament question

So I was checking title disc today and noticed that there is a one day C-tier tourney coming up this saturday. I have played a few tournaments so far (intermediate) and never really did well for various reasons. This tournament only costs 45 for the open division and 35 for the intermediate. I'm thinking about paying the extra 10 bucks and trying my hand in the open division. My game has gotten better and since these are usually smaller tourney's with only some of the local "pros" playing I think I might have a chance. Any thoughts on that.


P.S. If you're in the area you should make it out this Saturday. I hear the course is pretty decent.
