USDGC 2008

Postby Chuck Kennedy » Mon Sep 29, 2008 4:38 pm

Monday qualifying today and they had a 3-way tie for 4th with a playoff underway. Some players paid up to $125 to try and qualify four times and still fell short of the 64 required to make the playoff.

I'm interested to hear how the holes with the buncrs will play this year. Already sounds like it's not as brutal on hole 17.

must say it's good to see some norcal fools hanging in strong; barsby, doss, and john child.
hope they can all make a move and represent. all cool dudes that deserve to do well!

Anybody know who entered the distance competition and how far people threw? I can only see the 5 names that made it.

5 names that made it to the finals. I'd like to see the preliminary results also.

Weather looks great the next few days so some hotter rounds might be possible. Looks like the 15mph winds yesterday might be the highest they'll see all week.

Would like to see the full list of distance participants and how far they all were throwing. Is this list available? It's not on the www.usdgc website.
