So here's my first attempt at dyeing... Blue Champ Wraith, removed the stamp with acetone, used google translate to find the chinese kanji for "I throw far." Transferred the characters to powerpoint (word was spacing the characters too far apart). Printed it out, hand cut onto the sign vinyl I bought yesterday, and set it to dye. A couple first time points: using a roll of artist's masking tape, made the transfer/removal of the tape much easier than the packing tape I was using over the weekend. Also, I initially did not heat the dye up enough, so the first 30 minutes were pretty much wasted. I then set the heat to low and then low-medium with the disc in the pan. After letting it sit another 45 minutes or so, I had an even dye job with just one bleed (see if you can spot it after I blotted it with a q-tip and acetone). Anyway, entire process cut to dye, took about 3 hours.
