First attempt at the saran wrap method. This is a 175g Champion Beast. I chose this dye for this disc because if you've ever been to a recent NIN show, they put on an INCREDIBLE light/ theatrical display all throughout the show, and near the end put up their logo in front of the band like this:
This disc was an obvious choice because of the color being a perfect match to the logo on screen. It's my brother's and slightly used but still in great shape. With NIN using so much abstract and organic art in/on their albums, the saran wrap was calling..... I simply laid down some saran wrap in my pan, added a small amount of dye, moved it around a bit and let it sit all night, about 8 hours. I woke up, rinsed it off, and here ya go! The logo REALLY pops -- even the areas that weren't dyed black were dyed darker than before.
I'm thinking about dying the lowercase "n" on the back, would look great from both front and back.
