Looking for a saran wrap tuturial

I saw some examples and it is super sweet. I've never dyed before but I picked up some materials and i've been wanting to finally get into it. Untill I get a new pan im not gonna be able to use the stove so its just gonna sit in garage temperature.
But any tips would be great aswell as some kind of saran wrap tut.

Don't really know what to tell you...
Pour some Rit Dye into a wad of Saran® Wrap, crinkle the wrap as much as you want, put the disc in and come back the next morning. Rinse and be happy.

In theory, the more crinkling you do the smaller the dye pattern will be. Having said that, the Saran® wrap will do whatever it wants.

Really, it's about that simple. Put down some saran wrap in whatever you're gonna dye in, crinkle it up some, pour in some dye(NOT TOO MUCH), and put the disc in. You can push it in, or just let it sit on the saran wrap. Then DON'T MESS WITH IT! Don't try to redo it if it "feels wrong" after a few seconds/ minutes. Just think of putting the disc in the dye as the point of no return -- walk away, take an Ambien, sleep soundly, and wake up in 8 hours and take out the disc. Rinse IMMEDIATELY. Viola!

Knowing you're doing this without a stove, you can still put a great logo/ design on the negative space of the disc by lasking it with your contact paper or vinyl. I didn't need any heat to do the NIN dye:

I knew going in with a dx plastic it wasnt gonna turn out great, but it came out decent. Just thought id try on a disc I dont care about and I guess I didnt have much choice anyway, someone just stole 4 of my champs. Any tips for my next one would be great.

Judging from that Dye, it looks like you used a little to much Dye and pushed down the disc to hard and or didnt crinkle enough. DX Plastic is about the worst to dye though. Keep on trying!

so you just use the liquid rit ehh? What if I have a milk jug of old dye I used from before...can't I just use that stuff? and im surprised the dye sticks when its not warm...I am gonna try my hand at dying this weekend (gonna do a few before tommorow's tournament...just my family guys stencils though)

No not the liquid RIT you need to use the powder.
