disc's dyed in a series

Postby cjskier » Sat Aug 08, 2009 2:37 pm

Has anyone done all their disc in their bag in a series? As in all the same, or all corresponding? Thinking of doing it myself.

I haven't done all, but a few of my friends have 3-4 disc themes in their bags.

I've done groomsman discs based on a theme several times. I have also done a classic video game set of 5. My favorite set, while fairly simple, is still the TMNT set I did as fundraiser discs for a new course we are working on locally.

Most of my dyes have been bands -- Thin Lizzy, Rolling Stones, Beatles, NIN, etc -- but that wasn't exactly intentional.

I'm dyeing a Red Bull disc now -- if you tandem that with my Jager dye, you would have JAGER BOMBS!!!!!

I think I'm going to dye all my drivers the same, and all my Mids the same. Screw trying to dye putters!

So, here is what I managed to produce this go around with my dyes. Second real session of dye's for myself. Practice pays off for sure. Removed the stamps this time, like that look. Sort of a series. All my drivers say "Deep Tahoe pow" and my mids says the classic "Keep Tahoe blue". I need to get some more disc's now, the rest in my bag are already dyed or wont get dye. I want a full matching set.

All the discs were solid color, I added a tye-dye effect to all of them.

This should explain it best. http://www.keeptahoeblue.org/

"Deep Tahoe Pow" is just a play on that. As in Skiing Deep Tahoe Snow! Guess its a regional thing.
