OK, so with this dye, I learned that "Glow" plastic can be DX or Champion -- obviously, this is DX(although it feels more like PRO...)
Threw it in the dye, and it wouldn't take. Added more dye concentrate, and eventually added some acetone and let it sit overnight. Came out a dingy-green color, but the lines are clean and the contrast is there, just not as pronounced as I was going for.
First time cutting hair(Natalie Portman was bald in my V for Vendetta disc, and V's hair was very simple). VERY happy with the hair and EXTREMELY HAPPY with the eyes- had to cut some very small pieces to mask the eye "reflection," and it totally makes it clear where the band members are looking.
Love the "negative" effect with the Doors logo too.
I realize there's no "THE" on the Doors logo. It's so small and intricate, I was hoping to Sharpie it in after dyeing, but now it would contrast so heavily with the dye that it would stick out too much.
