I've dyed quite a few glow discs, and noticed that they all take a little shade of gray on where masked. This time I doubled up on the vinyl -- I put a solid sheet of vinyl on the disc, then after making my stencil on another piece I put THAT piece on top of the first one. The cutting wasn't any more difficult, neither was the weeding.
Spent about five hours on simmer heat in black Rit mix. No acetone this time.
The disc was masked perfectly -- there are no bleeds or smudges, and the double vinyl meant the mask perfectly protected the plastic.
As always, hand-cut. Enjoy!
