Looking for hot stamp designs

Postby gator » Mon Dec 21, 2009 1:13 pm

We are looking for stamp designs for the 2011 Am Worlds that will be held in Rochester, NY. We are also looking for a main logo design that would be used on far more merch then just discs, as well as letter head and our web page. If you have any questions you can contact me on this website or at gator515@hotmail.com

We would like to have the main logo that will go on our letter head for fundraising and our website by February but may wait as late as April if we must. We will be taking designs for discs for a longer period of time. I will try and put up exact dates when I have them.

The discs I'm referring to are the fundraiser discs you see each year for the worlds. It should be a great opportunity and honor for anyone out there.

Thing that should be included in the design: Rochester, NY, 2010 Amateur World Championships, PDGA. If the design incorporates rochester in a visual way it would be a bonus.

Will you be doing a series of stamps for the Startana, like KC did for the Starnarch last year?

Its for 2011 so we haven't made a decision on the discs yet. I would expect something new between now and then. Personally I'm hoping for some special roc's as Rochester's nickname is Roc City.

I don't have any them suggestions. In one of our meetings people wanted the stamp to represent what Rochester is known for, and my question was if anyone outside of NY actually new of Rochester. I'd really love to hear what someone from outside NY knew of Rochester as it might give us a clue.

No I don't believe we have a silk screening company in mind yet. If you have some prices or idea I'd be happy to share them with the rest of our worlds planning committee.

Wait, there's more than one city in the state of New York?

exactly so as long as it mentions the words I posted before you can go nuts on the design. We have a lilac festival that people come from around the world to. We have a jazz festival that is second only to Austins from what I'm told. Fredrick Douglas and Susan B Anthony called Rochester home. We hosted the 84 and 99 Pro Worlds. Oh yeah maybe the biggest thing that shaped our city was Kodak was founded here and the world headquarters are still in Rochester.

Yes we have the Rattlers (outdoor lacrosse) and the Knighthawks (indoor lacrosse). We have professional soccer in the form of the Rhinos and AAA baseball in the form of the Red Wings (Twins farm club). We also have the Rochester Amerks (short for Americans) that play hockey (tampa's farm team).

until I know what type of shirts and how many colors per shirt I couldn't give you a quote, but as long as it's something I can do now (OR buy the equipment for to do) I would probably get you a decent price.
so far I can't do dryfit or polyester clothing and I can't do more than 4 colors and NO halftones.. If I were to get the job though my profit would probably go to upgrading my equipment to accommodate whatever you guys needed.
